DreamWorks Dragons: Rescue Riders is an American animated television series in the How to Train Your Dragon franchise produced by DreamWorks Animation Television for Netflix. The show premiered on September 27, 2019, and its second season was released on February 7, 2020. Three specials were released in March, July and November 2020. [1]
The trapped Bewilderbeast, with its ability to control other dragons, calls for help from all available dragons, among them are Garffiljorg, the Eruptodon, the Screaming Death, the Frozen Skrill, Thornado, Bing, Bam and Boom and every dragon the Riders ever encountered. The Riders and wild dragons defeat the hunters while the Bewilderbeast escapes.
Tom comes up with a plan to sneak into Buzzsaw's camp and steal the dragon whistle, but he falls into a trap and is captured. Tom manages to trick Buzzsaw into letting him "train" his dragon to create an opportunity to steal the whistle, buying enough time for the other dragon riders to rescue Thunder and the captured dragons.
