Dwell Community Church, formerly Xenos Christian Fellowship, is a non-traditional, non-denominational, institutional cell church system. [2] Unlike traditional churches, Dwell is centered on home church activities rather than traditional Sunday morning services.
The cathedral c. 1900-10. St. Joseph Parish, named after Saint Joseph, was founded by members of St. Patrick's Parish in Columbus in 1866 to alleviate overcrowding. Its pastor, the Rev. Edward M. Fitzgerald, began to plan for the church, raised money, formed a building committee and secured property on Broad Street and Fifth for $13,500. [1]

The upper part or main auditorium was floored and enclosed with temporary windows. The basement being finished, Mass was held therein for the first time on Sunday, March 7, 1886. Father Clarke the pastor, sang the High Mass and Father White, the rector of St. Joseph Cathedral, preached an appropriate sermon.

[12] Following these renovations, the church was chosen as the best religious wedding venue in the city of Columbus by the readers of Columbus Monthly in 2022.
