Leverage: Redemption [1] is an American action crime drama television revival of Leverage with most of the main cast returning. The first eight episodes premiered on Freevee on July 9, 2021, with an additional eight episodes released on October 8, 2021. [2] [3] In December 2021, the series was renewed for a second season. [4]
Leverage was canceled on December 21, 2012 amid falling ratings. The final episode, which was produced as a possible series finale, aired December 25, 2012. A total of 77 episodes of Leverage were broadcast over five seasons. A sequel, Leverage: Redemption, premiered in July 2021.
The show takes up the team's adventures 8 years after the last episode. In 2013, Kane appeared as JT Maxwell, brother to Rebecca Romijn 's female lead Michelle Maxwell on TNT's King & Maxwell . He appeared again with Romijn co-starring in the 2014 to 2018 TNT television series The Librarians , based on The Librarian film series.
When the caper drama was revived in summer 2021 as Freevee’s Leverage: Redemption, Hodge — as did co-stars Gina Bellman, Christian Kane and Beth Riesgraf — reprised his role from the TNT series.
