    Just to note, unlike the various shepherd, bulldog, and mountain dog breeds there is only one 'Poi Dog', which is the Hawaiian Poi Dog. There is also only one Elkhound (the Norwegian Elkhound) and there are a few other breeds with similar naming issues. "Hawaiian Poi Dog" was the correct name. EclecticGeek 20:44, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
