I own both a Thunder 380 and a Thunder PLUS. The PLUS grip is about 1/4" longer and a 1/4" thicker. The PLUS is not available except in the all black finish. The PLUS shoots just like the 380 and is slightly heavier when loaded because it is a double-stack... the extra rounds make it heavier. As far as the necessity of 15 +1 vs 7 +1, that is an ...

Of the 3 MecGar mags, 1 tried to feed a round and eject one at the same time, but only once. The other 2 same thing occurred every other round.

I have a Bersa Thunder 380 Plus that's just over 1 year old. I too had a trigger reset problem develop and I've been trying to resolve this problem for several months now. After recently reading your post I immediately examined my ejector stabilizer pin and sure enough it was also protruding. I too drifted it back flush, reassembled and VOILA !!
Width on the standard .380 is 1.2", 1.35" on the T-Plus. Everything else is identical. Pretty reassuring when carrying an extra magazine to know that you've got 30 rounds at your disposal, 45 if you have a double belt pouch.

With a mag in the gun a small spring holds the trigger bar in place so the trigger engages the sear and the gun will fire. Obviously when the mag is removed ...
2. Recoil on the .380 and the .380CC is not exactly the same. The CC is a touch more harsh due to the narrow grip and the fact that the grip panels have no "give" to them, plus the beaver tail is smaller so you notice a bit more jump. Not enough to make much of a difference though.
Okay, some lessons learned on Bersa Thunder magazines. I have the 380 CC, which supposedly takes a different 8-round magazine than the standard 7-round magazine of the normal 380. I happened to have some Pearce grips pinky extensions for another project of a Beretta 21a Bobcat, and they also supposedly fit a Bersa Thunder 380 magazine.
Extra Thunder magazines are really hard to find or at least they were the last time I looked. That being said I think the Bersa Thunder, and Bersa's in general, are one of the best bangs for the buck in the saturated pistol market. I currently have two Bersa's. The Firestorm .22 and the Thunder Plus 15 shot double stack .380.

I don't see why you need to date the pistol if you just want to purchase a 15 round double stack magazine for it. The pistol was made after 1995.
