The main purpose of this page is to list the current standard time offsets of different countries, territories and regions. Information on daylight saving time or historical changes in offsets can be found in the individual offset articles (e.g. UTC+01:00) or the country-specific time articles (e.g. Time in Russia).
The UTC offset is the difference in hours and minutes between Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) and the standard time at a particular place. [1] This difference is expressed with respect to UTC and is generally shown in the format ±[hh]:[mm] , ±[hh][mm] , or ±[hh] .
Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) is the local mean time at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London, counted from midnight.
