September 25, 2013 – A BNSF freight train collides with the rear of another standing BNSF train in Amarillo, Texas, derailing about 30 cars of the standing train. A third train traveling on the parallel main track collides with the wreckage. Four BNSF crewmen were injured and treated at local hospitals; no fatalities were reported. [25]
