Glenn Michael Sparkman (born May 11, 1992) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Toronto Blue Jays and Kansas City Royals. He also played in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Orix Buffaloes and in the KBO League for the Lotte Giants.
In the fall of 1917, he enrolled at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and played on the freshman baseball team in 1918. [2] During World War I, Pearce worked at the Hog Island shipyard in Philadelphia before being inducted into the U.S. Navy on July 27, 1918. He was discharged in January 1919. [3] [4]
