Pogo (revived as Walt Kelly's Pogo) was a daily comic strip that was created by cartoonist Walt Kelly and syndicated to American newspapers from 1948 until 1975. Set in the Okefenokee Swamp in the Southeastern United States, Pogo followed the adventures of its anthropomorphic animal characters, including the title character, an opossum.
Conqueror tells Wind to fight for his wife if he is a man. Wind and Cloud engage in a battle, and Lord Conqueror tries to kill Cloud in their duel, but Charity sacrifices herself to save him. As Wind quietly grieves for Charity, Cloud fights the Phoenix family for the Ice Vigor to use it to preserve Charity's body, but is soon found by Conqueror.
The film was produced in May 1929 and shown by the two to various distributors. The film was first made viewable to the public on Cartoon Network's television special Toonheads: The Lost Cartoons on March 12, 2000, in an edited form. The full cartoon is present on disc 4 of the Looney Tunes Golden Collection: Volume 1 as a special feature.
