J-B Kwik is a faster-curing two-part epoxy with medium-temperature resistance up to 300 °F (149 °C). Although not as strong or heat-resistant as J-B Weld, it has the same adhesion and does not shrink when hardening.
Tung oil has been used for hundreds of years in China, where it was used as a preservative for wood ships. The oil penetrates the wood, and then hardens to form an impermeable hydrophobic layer up to 5 mm into the wood.
