Auburn is located 20 mi (32 km) north of Fort Wayne in Northern Indiana. According to the 2010 census, the city has a total area of 7.10 square miles (18.4 km 2), all land. [15] Most of Auburn is located in Union civil township. Portions of Jackson and Keyser civil townships are also within the city limits.
In his first season on Auburn's team, Marshall led the Tigers to an SEC Championship in 2013 and the 2014 BCS National Championship Game.
