Archie Matthew Vaughan (born 9 December 2005) is an English cricketer who plays for Somerset and the England national under-19 cricket team. He is a right handed batsman and right arm off spin bowler. [1] He made his List A cricket debut on 26 July 2024 in the One-Day Cup against Kent. He is the son of former England Test captain Michael Vaughan.
Vaughan was founded in 1869 in Chicago, Illinois by Alexander Vaughan, an 18-year-old blacksmith, as a plumbing business. Vaughan soon set up a blacksmith shop behind a hardware store in Chicago owned by Sidney Bushnell. On June 15, 1869, Vaughan was granted a patent for an improved post auger [2] and began producing custom tools.
In 2017, Lehman teamed up with the mayors of Mississauga, Hamilton, Markham, Vaughan, and St. Catharines to support the "mega-merger" of electricity companies in those cities to create Alectra, the second largest community-owned utility in North America; Lehman is a founding director of the company.
