Wisconsin Rapids voters will consider a slightly different ATV/UTV ordinance than what the Common Council considered a year ago on their Nov. 5 ballot.
The Wisconsin Rapids City Council had the option to pass the ATV/UTV ordinance at its Tuesday meeting but it failed by a vote of 2-6.
The Wisconsin Rapids Common Council voted 6-2 Tuesday to deny an ordinance that would allow ATVs and UTVs access to the city’s streets.

[4] It is a principal city of the Marshfield–Wisconsin Rapids micropolitan statistical area, which includes all of Wood County and had a population of 74,207 in 2020.
