MS 4 turns south through a mix of neighborhoods and businesses for a few blocks (along Norfleet Drive) before making a sharp left onto Main Street and immediately having an interchange with I-55 (Exit 265). The highway leaves Senatobia and passes through the communities of New Town and Looxahoma before having an intersection with MS 305.
New Albany is bisected by Interstate 22 (US Highway 78). New Albany is connected to Ripley in the North and Pontotoc to the South by State Highway 15.
