The Distance Education Bureau (DEB) is a bureau of the UGC based in New Delhi, India, in charge of regulating distance education in India. [1] It was established in 2012, replacing the DEAC, an organisation that was responsible for open learning and distance education since 1985.
The University of Delhi-School of Open Learning (DU-SOL) is a constituent school of the University of Delhi. It was established in 1962, and offers programmes in humanities, sciences and commerce. Courses offered are under correspondence courses and continuing education policies of the university and respective government agencies.

The Delhi University (DU, ISO: Dillī Viśvavidyālaya), also known as the University of Delhi, is a collegiate research central university located in Delhi, India. It was founded in 1922 by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly. The Vice President of India serves as the university chancellor.
As a collegiate university, its main functions are divided between the academic departments of the university and affiliated colleges. Consisting of three colleges, two faculties, and 750 students at its founding, the University of Delhi has since become India's largest institution of higher learning and among the largest in the world.

It was established in 1964 by the Delhi Administration under the name of Government College. The college acquired its new name when the Delhi Administration vested its governance in an autonomous governing body. Rajdhani College is an off campus college, which falls under the administration of North Campus, University of Delhi.
Ramanujan College is the second college of the University of Delhi to be awarded the Teaching Learning Centre (TLC), the most sought-after scheme of the MHRD. Under this scheme, the centre has successfully trained more than 3500 teachers till March 2020.
