Daggett is a village in Menominee County of the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 201 at the 2020 census , [ 2 ] down from 258 in 2010 . The village is located within Daggett Township and is part of the Marinette , WI –MI Micropolitan Statistical Area .
The township is south of the geographic center of Menominee County, with the village of Daggett in the southwest part of the township. U.S. Route 41 crosses the west side of the township, passing through the east side of Daggett village and leading north 9 miles (14 km) to Carney and south 25 miles (40 km) to Menominee, the county seat.
Barryton (/ b ɛ ər. ə t ə n / BAIR-ə-tən) is a village in Mecosta County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 405 at the 2020 census , [ 3 ] up from 355 in 2010 . The village is located in Fork Township on M-66 .
The village of Barryton is in the southern part of the township. State highway M-66 crosses the township from south to north. According to the United States Census Bureau , Fork Township has a total area of 35.2 square miles (91 km 2 ), of which 34.8 square miles (90 km 2 ) are land and 0.4 square miles (1.0 km 2 ), or 1.20%, are water.
