Lego: The Adventures of Clutch Powers is a 2010 animated adventure comedy film. The film is based on the concept of the Lego toy series, and stars the voices of Ryan McPartlin, Yvonne Strahovski, Roger Rose, Jeff Bennett, Paul Michael Glaser, Gregg Berger, Christopher Emerson and Alex Desert.
Another film was later released, entitled Lego: The Adventures of Clutch Powers. The film received positive reviews from fans and critics and, after the DVD release, a sequel was set to star Clutch as the hero again. A short film based on Clutch Powers was later released but a full sequel never materialized.
It also sees the return of Clutch Powers, a character introduced in the eleventh season of the television series. The name "Clutch Powers" is a tribute to the term the LEGO Group uses in quality control tests to describe characteristics of the ABS plastic: "clutch power" describes the force with which studs and anti-studs adhere. The season introduces a new power called "Forbidden Spinjitzu" which is wielded by both Aspheera and the main ninja characters. Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu also introduces the character Clutch Powers into the Ninjago universe, which was a pre-existing Lego character from the 2010 animated film Lego: The Adventures of Clutch Powers.
