This list includes botanical fruits such as pumpkins, and does not include herbs, spices, cereals and most culinary fruits and culinary nuts. Edible fungi are not included in this list.
Many edible plant parts that are considered fruits in the botanical sense are culinarily classified as vegetables (for example: the tomato, zucchini, and so on), and thus do not appear on this list.
