In 1893 Seattle streetcar service came to Georgetown and the King County Hospital was built near the corner of Orcas Street and Corson Avenue, east of the Poor Farm. [10] In 1898 Georgetown's first local school was established. In 1902 the Seattle-Tacoma interurban line came through Georgetown, which became the site of its car barns.
The Georgetown Inn, in Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C., is a hotel built in 1962. [ 1 ] When it opened in 1962 it was the first new hotel in Georgetown in more than 100 years, and, at $22.00 per room per night, it was its most expensive.

Jules Maes Saloon is by some accounts the oldest bar in Seattle, in the U.S. state of Washington. [1] [2] It opened in 1888 in the city's Georgetown neighborhood. [3] [4] [5] The building it occupies, "The Brick Store", at 5919 Airport Way at the corner of Nebraska, is listed as a Seattle Historic Site. [6]
