The UT Tyler Patriots are the athletic teams that represent the University of Texas at Tyler, located in Tyler, Texas, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Patriots are full members of the Lone Star Conference , which is home to all sixteen athletic programs.
UT Tyler's main campus is located on 204 acres (0.83 km 2), just inside the eastern city limits of Tyler, Texas. Many buildings and sports facilities have been constructed at the main campus since 1996. One of the most prominent features of the UT Tyler campus is the Riter Tower, an 88-foot (27 m) instrument featuring 57 bells.
Irwin Field is a ballpark in Tyler, Texas, and home to the UT Tyler Patriots baseball team of the American Southwest Conference. The venue holds a capacity of 1,000. [1] [2] The ballpark was named after local philanthropists Robert B. and Mary Irwin.

Cameron, Dallas Baptist, Oklahoma Christian, St. Mary's (TX), Sul Ross State, Texas A&M International, UT Tyler, and Western New Mexico have yet to qualify for the tournament finals. Sul Ross State left the LSC after the 1975–76 season and did not return until 2024–25.
