TPC Deere Run is an 18-hole golf course in the central United States, located in Silvis, Illinois, along the Rock River.It is operated by the PGA Tour as a member of their Tournament Players Club network of golf courses and plays host to the annual John Deere Classic, part of the tour's regular season schedule.
Opened twenty years ago in 2004, it was designed by renowned golf course architect Pete Dye in consultation with tour professionals Steve Elkington and Kelly Gibson. TPC Louisiana has been part of the PGA Tour's Tournament Players Club network since its second season, and hosts the tour's Zurich Classic of New Orleans in the spring. [2]
The new venue would offer two separate 18-hole championship golf courses, as well as a 300-yard (270 m) practice area, a 40,000 square feet (3,700 m 2) clubhouse, an Olympic sized swimming pool, 6 tennis courts, and snack-bar/dressing facility. Both courses were designed by Joe Finger.
