Robert John Brennan (born June 7, 1962) is an American Catholic prelate who has served as Bishop of Brooklyn since 2021. Previously he served as an auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Rockville Centre from 2012 to 2019, and as Bishop of Columbus from 2019 to 2021.
The Diocese of Brooklyn is a suffragan diocese in the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of New York. The diocesan cathedral is the Cathedral Basilica of St. James in Downtown Brooklyn and its co-cathedral is the Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph in Prospect Heights. The current Bishop of Brooklyn is Robert J. Brennan.
