A Citation II seen shortly after landing. The Citation II (Model 550) was developed to provide the same docile low-speed handling and good short-field performance as the preceding Citation I while addressing a primary criticism of that aircraft — its relatively slow cruise speed of around 350 kn (650 km/h) at altitude. [2]
The S-550 was a proposed crewed space capsule, designed in 2005-06 at Venturer Aerospace, in response to the NASA Commercial Orbital Transportation Services (COTS) program to provide commercial resupply and logistics support for the International Space Station after the retirement of the Space Shuttle.
The car is powered by a 5,163 cc (5.2 L; 315.1 cu in) Predator cross-plane crank V8 with a 2.65-liter Roots-type supercharger by Eaton. [148] It generates 760 horsepower (570 kW) at 7,300 rpm and 625 pound-feet (847 N⋅m) at 5,000 rpm, giving the car a zero to 60 mph (97 km/h) acceleration time of 3.3 seconds and a maximum speed of 180 miles ...

Another pilot similarly praised Flight Simulator 2.0 in PC Magazine that year, giving it 18 out of 18 points. He reported that its realism compared well to two $3 million hardware flight simulators he had recently flown, and that he could use real approach plates to land at and navigate airports Flight Simulator ' s manual did not document.
