Taikkyi Township (Burmese: တိုက်ကြီး မြို့နယ် [taɪʔtɕí mjo̰nɛ̀]) is the northernmost township of Yangon Region. Taikkyi township constitutes three main towns: Taikkyi, Oakkan, Aphauk. Yangon-Pyay Road and Yangon-Pyay railway cross Taikkyi from North to South.

The district was created alongside a larger reorganization of Yangon Region's subdivisions on 30 April 2022. The former North Yangon District along with the other three districts were expanded to 14 districts by the provisional government.
