Laptop can no longer detect 2nd monitor via HP Thunderbolt Dock G2. The monitor appears to recognise activation of the DP connection. Works fine with direct connection to monitor. Other features of the dock are working well. This Dock has previously performed perfectly. Updating HP Drivers has not resolved the issue
It will only work with one external monitor. Without the HDMI cable connected to the laptop, the monitor with the VGA connection works. Once the HDMI cable from the second monitor is connected to the laptop simultaneously, the first monitor with VGA connection will go black with "D-SUB NO SIGNAL". The monitor connected via HDMI takes over and work.

No sound from internal speakers of HP 2009m monitor. Monitors with speakers in them require a USB or sound cable to produce sound. If it is a sound cable, it must be plugged into the correct port -- usually green. That cable could be loose or defective. HP - HP has 5 options, (SystemDiags , BIOSUpdate , BIOS, HP Support Framework) All of which do nothing, BIOSUpdate and BIOS has things you can select but they just restart the computer. step 1. As indicated go to Nvidia Drivers, and use Product Type: GeForce, Series: GeForce 6 Series, Windows 8 32-bit. Wow, what an excellent fix!!
