If it is the lock with the bridled tumbler and a fly in the tumbler, maybe $100 as a top price. If it is unbridled and there is no fly, then considerably less. Reply

Kibler locks and other CNC made locks generally just need to be cared for, cleaned and lubricated.

    442. Location. S.E. Wisconsin. Jul 16, 2024. #2. The screw hole you mention is for just that on the Pedersoli Trade gun, a small wood screw at the front right side of the lock. The Pedersoli Trade gun has only one screw/bolt holding the lock in, and it is the rear left screw/bolt. The front left screw is just a wood screw, about 1/2 to 3/4 in long.

Nice job. The lock is a good example using an earlier form of the horizontal sear. Looks like she sparks like a banshee. LOL Having to add a slight amount of material to the nose of the sear. I know just what you were running into. Original Moroccan snaphaunce locks we find today, about 95% of them will not hold (or barely hold) in the cock ...

That may be on the table for consideration. One other possibility is that Doc Carlson's Upper Missouri Trading Post used to market a parts set or kit for a Northwest gun lock. I don't know how these were, marked, though. Again, photos of the entire gun, both sides, may provide additional clues. Best regards, Notchy Bob

A little bit more of an angle, with a roll to that flat may hold the frizzen open. If you change this, use caution. A few strokes, check, a few strokes, check. Keep the toe level (don't round from edge to edge) while keeping a round surface for the spring to ride against.
