    104. Posted January 19, 2014. Having had the opportunity to install and use 3 different after-market barrels for the XD, I thought I would share some of my observations. I have used (or currently own) Barsto, EFK Fire Dragon, and Storm Lake barrels. I have 7 XD models, with about 120,000 rounds down range between them:

  4. XD Failure to Eject - Springfield (XD) - Brian Enos's Forums

    forums.brianenos.com/topic/198729-xd-failure-to-eject

Just today though, the XD started having failure to ejects on about 70% of rounds shot like this. However, it never had a FTE with a magazine in. I shot multiple 5 and 10 shot strings with a magazine inserted, probably 100 rounds total, and it never experienced a FTE. However, on the 50 or so shots I shot without a magazine in, it would FTE on ...

    forums.brianenos.com/topic/110534-powder-river-vs-springer-trigger-kit

imo PRP is a little bit better than Springer but thats just me. cause one thing if you were to get the full kit for springer you need to buy a new sear and then they also want you to buy this $80 trigger bar and you are spending 1.5 times to twice as much as the prp drop in kit and you will have very similar results.

    forums.brianenos.com/topic/263366-dead-trigger

His was caused by the trigger bar binding on the top of the magazine. at one point he broke a trigger bar and swapped in a powder river. It was when the issue started for him. Powder River doesn't make a trigger bar, Springer does. Edited June 29, 2018 by Jeff O.

    forums.brianenos.com/topic/169723-need-some-help-with-an-xd-sub-compact-recoil...

I'm trying to help a lady friend who has a XD Sub Compact 9mm. The Recoil spring is way to stiff for her and she is having a lot of trouble racking the slide. (Truth is, after a surgically bungled hand repair, I have some trouble racking the slide too.) I'm wondering: Does anyone make a lighter s...

I have a XDM 5.25 with a PRP Extreme Trigger kit and had a few light primer strikes..... The striker channel was in need of a good cleaning. Give the striker and the channel a good cleaning then after give the gun a test. Also do not lube the striker or the channel it's made to run dry all it will do is gum it up faster.

Gender:Male. Location:Washington. Posted March 21. I received my Echelon about a week ago (after the state quarantine). I have not made it to the range as yet, but my first impressions are good. Red Hill Tactical was able to provide a holster. The slide configuration is working well with hands having reduced strength.

    forums.brianenos.com/topic/272001-thumb-rest-for-xdm-525-9mm

BTW, I have a Springfield XD Mod2 and was not expecting much but it is a real sweet shooting gun. I was very impressed and it may be the best hand gun Springfield ever put their name. Because it was so good I bought an XD Mod2 Sub Compact, and it is by far the easiest to control small 9mm I ever shot. I had no holster problems at all.

    33. Posted May 19, 2019. Buy two 1/8" tungsten welding rods. Cut to length (each rod will give you two pieces). Rough up the inside of the guide rod with a chainsaw file. Fill with epoxy (I used Gorilla brand) and insert the four tungsten rods. The rods will fit tight with no wiggle.
