Mar. 25—INDIANAPOLIS — On April 12, 2020, the sad news of the passing of North Central Athletic Director Paul Loggan was announced. Paul passed away from health conditions caused by COVID-19.
North Central was established in 1956 in response to Washington Township's rapidly growing population and the desire of residents to have a local high school. Prior to this, students from the township attended Broad Ripple High School and Shortridge High School in Indianapolis. (At this time, most of the township was outside the city limits.)
Miles was born in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1953, one of five children. His father worked for Eli Lilly and Company and his mother was a teacher. He attended Broad Ripple High School and graduated from North Central High School. Miles attended Wabash College where he studied political science and was a member of the tennis team. [2]
