Hillsong United (stylised as Hillsong UNITED or UNITED) is a contemporary worship collective originating from Hillsong Church. Since forming in 1998 out of the church's youth ministry, the group has released fifteen live albums and six studio albums. Band members are involved in Hillsong Church services and also play for the church. [1]
Many past LUKAS members have gone on to become part of the main Hillsong Worship band and Hillsong United teams including Paul Mabury (drums), [12] Harrison Wood (drums), [13] Simon Kobler (drums) [14] and Matt Hann (bass guitar). The first of these was initially to be the eighth album (and first studio album) by Hillsong United. That album was simply released with the title All of the Above . The second of these to be part of the series was to be an extended play release compiled of performances by Hillsong United's under 21-year-old members.
