Hardwick Hall in Derbyshire is an architecturally significant country house from the Elizabethan era, a leading example of the Elizabethan prodigy house. Built between 1590 and 1597 for Bess of Hardwick , it was designed by the architect Robert Smythson , an exponent of the Renaissance style .
Hardwick Hall was also the site of a one-day music event, Hardwick Live, until 2015. [2] Hardwick Live was replaced by a larger two-day event, Down To The Woods, in 2016. Hardwick is a west Stockton-on-Tees area in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham, northern England. It is where North Tees Hospital is situated. The Hardwick ward had 6,881 population in the 2011 census. [2] It is bordered by Harrowgate Lane to the north west, Roseworth to the east and Bishopsgarth and Elm Tree Farm the south.
