Israeli Air Force Base Hatzor [ edit ] The 101 Squadron "First Fighter" was founded in May 1948 as the first military aircraft squadron in Israel and relocated to Hatzor in November – at that time still with Avia S-199 fighter aircraft, made from leftover parts of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 .

The 100 Squadron of the Israeli Air Force, also known as the Flying Camel Squadron, is a Beechcraft King Air and Beechcraft Bonanza squadron with patrol aircraft. Between 1959 and 2019, the squadron was based at Sde Dov Airport. In 2019 it moved to Hatzor Airbase. [1]
