A tank farm fire in Proletarsk, Rostov Oblast was detected by NASA's FIRMS from 18 to 30 August 2024. The Buncefield incident occurred in December 2005. A petrol tank overflowed and spilt petrol down the outside of the tank which created a flammable fuel air mixture.
