This is an alphabetical list of school districts in Missouri, sorted first by the state supervisors of instruction regions, the counties each region serves, and then alphabetically. Many districts have the letters "C" or "R" in their name, followed by a numeral.
Its previous high school building was built in 1938. In 2019 a new high school building was established. The district planned to demolish the 1938 facility on June 8, 2020. [2] The current high school building was scheduled to open in 2019. [3] Skidmore, Maitland, and Graham consolidated into Nodaway-Holt in 1968.
The average teacher salary for a regular term is $42,891, compared to the Missouri average of $41,750. When additional extended contract salaries, Career Ladder, and extra duty pay is considered, the average teacher salary in the district is $42,676, compared to the Missouri average of $43,524.
The following are approximate tallies of current listings by county. These counts are based on entries in the National Register Information Database as of March 13, 2009 [2] and new weekly listings posted since then on the National Register of Historic Places web site. [3]
In 1972, the district was organized as follows: K through 5, elementary school; grades 6 and 7 in the middle school; grades 8 and 9 in the junior high and grades 10, 11, and 12 in the Senior High School. [3] In 2008, the school board proposed a bond for the construction of a new high school, but it failed twice. [4]

In August 2019 54% of the voters rejected a tax levy meant to improve the school facility. [3] In October 2019 the district made an attempt at passing a tax levy. [2] 54% of the voters rejected this in November of that year. [3] In 2021 a vote to increase the tax levy failed on a 189-188 basis, which meant it failed by a single vote. [4]
