Rai Movie is an Italian movie television channel, owned by state-owned television network RAI and broadcast on digital terrestrial television in Italy and on satellite platform Tivù Sat. The channel was launched in 2003 as RaiSat Cinema World and re-badged in 2006 as RaiSat Cinema .
Since 1 June 2017, during the airing of the second season of Non uccidere, all episodes of new seasons belonging to Rai series or purchased from other broadcasters were made available online via RaiPlay Anteprima. On 30 October 2019 a huge update was released, making the app look more similar to other services like Netflix or Amazon Prime Video.

An international version, Rai World Premium, exists, with the channel in 2022 drawing from a catalog of 2,750 hours worth of Rai Fiction and 156 hours worth of Rai Cinema's productions.
