    Bad logical analogy, but it has the explosiveness of suggesting that "real American presidents are white." Also, many HU speakers are Pakistani, i.e. not Indian at all. The Hindu-Hindi thing is actually far less risky, as you should be able to tell from the fact that Hindus have basically not adopted Shuddh Hindi and pretty much stuck to HU.
