The church was re-pewed with open seats. A new stained-glass window by William Wailes of Newcastle was inserted at the east end of the chancel. There is a stained-glass window by Charles Kempe, which was removed from Derwent Chapel before it was submerged under the Ladybower Reservoir.
St Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, Hathersage is a Grade II* listed Roman Catholic church in Hathersage, Derbyshire. [ 1 ] The building dates back to the early 18th Century, and became Grade II* listed on 12 July, 1967.

[17] On 1 April 2015, Hathersage and Outseats, the two parishes that comprised the village, were replaced by a single new parish council, called Hathersage Parish Council.
