    No, whether an analog signal comes out is the video card's design choice. DisplayPort chipsets support analog output in the form of a VGA signal. None of them support NTSC analog output via composite or S-video. Those connections have simply been abandoned. It's 2009, and they just no longer care. There's no reason why they should.
