Sultana Kamal is a Bangladeshi lawyer and human rights activist. She serves as the executive director of Ain o Salish Kendra , a civil rights organisation. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] In 2006, she served as adviser in the Caretaker government of Bangladesh led by President Iajuddin Ahmed during the 2006-2008 Bangladeshi political crisis . [ 3 ]
Sultana Kamal (née Ahmed; 10 December 1951 – 15 August 1975), nicknamed Khuki, was a Bangladeshi athlete. She was married to Sheikh Kamal, the eldest son of Bangladesh President Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. She was killed during the assassination of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman family.
Her Muslim mother, Sultana Kamal, is a lawyer and human rights activist who runs a legal aid organisation in Bangladesh. Her Hindu father, Supriyo Chakravarty, is also a lawyer. [2] Her parents both decided to keep their respective religions after marriage. [1] She is her parents' only child. [2] Her maternal grandmother is poet Sufia Kamal. [3]
Bangladesh Women Sports Federation was established in 1972. It manages Sultana Kamal Women's Sports Complex and is financed by rent from the sports complex. [5] In 2004, Bangladesh Women Sports Federation and Bangladesh Football Federation organized the first women's football tournament in Bangladesh. It featured six teams. [6]

He was the eldest son of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman , the founding President of Bangladesh [ 1 ] and the younger brother of Sheikh Hasina , the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh also the founder of Abahani Limited Dhaka .
