The Stark County Courthouse and its Annex are listed on the National Register of Historic Places for Canton, Ohio. The courthouse building was designed by Cleveland, Ohio based architect George F. Hammond in 1895. [2] The building is considered to be in the Beaux Arts Architecture style reflecting Classicism styles.

6th, 13th. Website. www.starkcountyohio.gov. Stark County is a county located in the northeastern part of U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2020 census, the population was 374,853. [1] Its county seat is Canton. [2] The county was created in 1808 and organized the next year. [3] It is named for John Stark, an officer in the American Revolutionary War.
There are 90 properties and districts listed on the National Register in the county, including 1 National Historic Landmark. Another 3 properties were once listed but have been removed.
