De La Salle University (Filipino: Pamantasang De La Salle), also referred to as DLSU, De La Salle or La Salle, is a private, Catholic coeducational research university run by the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools with main campus in Taft Avenue, Malate, Manila, Philippines.
Both universities are members of the De La Salle Philippines System. Also, approximately three kilometres (1.9 mi) from it is the De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, a separate De La Salle campus that specializes in medicine and allied health education which is often mistaken as part of DLSU-D due to the proximity of both campuses.
