New York State Route 52 (NY 52) is a 108.72-mile-long (174.97 km) state highway in the southeastern part of the state. It generally runs from west to east through five counties, beginning at the Pennsylvania state line in the Delaware River near Narrowsburg, crossing the Hudson River on the Newburgh–Beacon Bridge, and ending in Carmel.
The Fishkill Village District is a federally recognized historic district in the New York community. It is roughly defined as Main Street ( NY 52 ) between Cary and Hopewell streets. Of the 108 buildings within this district, those that are contributing properties date from between the late 18th century to the late 19th century.
The Dutchess Mall opened during 1974 as the first mall in Dutchess County, and the first enclosed shopping mall between Yonkers and Albany. John Jay Senior High School is a public high school on State Route 52 in the town of East Fishkill, New York. The school teaches grades 9 through 12. Students from Van Wyck Junior High School who have successfully completed the 8th grade continue to the 9th grade at John Jay. The school is a part of the Wappingers Central School District. [4]
