The Houchens Center is a cultural and educational center for the Bowling Green, Kentucky community, and a meeting place for clubs, associations, and the individual patrons who make up the membership. The center is also available to non-members for club meetings, workshops, retreats, receptions, parties and weddings.

The stores are located in Bowling Green and surrounding towns. [8] In April 2008, Buehler Foods of Jasper, Indiana, signed a letter of intent to sell the company to Houchens. [9]
The Kentucky Museum is a history, arts, and culture museum located at 1444 Kentucky Street, Bowling Green, Kentucky on the campus of Western Kentucky University. It includes 80,000 square feet of exhibit space. Archaeology, art, clothing and textiles, furniture, glassware ceramics, quilts, toys and games are all permanent exhibits at the museum.
