The CZ 75 is a short recoil operated, locked breech pistol. It uses the Browning linkless cam locking system similar to that used in the Browning Hi-Power pistol, where the barrel and slide are locked together on firing, using locking lugs milled into the barrel mating with recesses in the roof of the slide.

The CZ 75 Tactical Sport pistol [1] is a Czech single-action firearm specifically designed for practical shooting competitions. It is the successor of the CZ 75 Standard IPSC model. Though almost identical in external appearance, the TS features some improvements, especially in its trigger mechanism, magazine capacity and durability.
The A-100 is a recoil-operated, locked breech design with improved Browning-style linkless locking. The lock up is similar to the Browning High Power or CZ-75 with locking lugs on the top of the barrel which mate with lugs in the slide (not with a single lug in the ejection port like a SIG P22X.)

The CZ2075 RAMI polymer version was discontinued as of 2011, and the alloy frame version was discontinued in the .40 S&W caliber in 2016 [ 5 ] and in the 9mm in 2020.
