Jack Leon Ruby (born Jacob Leon Rubenstein; c. [1] [2] March 25, 1911 – January 3, 1967) was an American nightclub owner who murdered Lee Harvey Oswald on November 24, 1963, two days after Oswald assassinated President John F. Kennedy. Born in Chicago, Ruby operated nightclubs in Texas.

Lawrence Lindo (1943 – 7 April 1989), [1] better known as Jack Ruby, was a Jamaican record producer and sound system operator, best known for his 1970s productions of artists such as Burning Spear. Ruby was based in Ocho Rios and during his time was the only major Jamaican record producer not headquartered in Kingston.

State of Texas 407 S.W.2d 793 (1966) was a decision by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, the highest criminal appellate court in the State of Texas, that Jack Ruby, real name Jacob Rubenstein, the killer of Lee Harvey Oswald, had been denied a fair trial. The decision ordered his conviction reversed. Ruby died before he could be retried.
