The 5.4 L (5409 cc, 330 in³) V8 is a member of the Modular engine family first introduced in the redesigned 1997 Ford F-150 as a Triton V8. Bore diameter is 90.2 mm (3.552 in) and stroke is 105.8 mm (4.165 in), the increased stroke necessitated a taller 256 mm (10.079 in) engine block deck height.
The "modular" family 4.6l, 5.4l, 6.8l, all share the same external locations for accessories. No difference in hole locations. Deck height being the difference. I love that about the ford engine family. Note: The stewarts EMP is going for 119.99 over at Summit Racing, the Navi Pump is going for 75 OEM on rock auto.
i am fairly new on a 4.6 i have put about 3 of them together not bad at all 5.0 302 is almost the same concept but the over head cams are critical when timing

We decided on the way home after the "family reunion" to start up the ...

Woodland Park, CO. Both the Jeep and the TLX have their batteries under the hood, and both (the V6 Acura, mine's an I4) specify AGM batteries. The AGM batteries are called out mainly because of the auto stop-start "feature" in each. The Jeep has an OEM cover/blanket, the Acura has none.
