Fort Noble Mountain is a 2,310-foot-tall (700 m) mountain in the Adirondack Mountains of New York.It is located east-northeast of Nobleboro, on the line between the town of Ohio in Herkimer County and town of Morehouse in Hamilton County.

Nobleboro, formally known as Noblesboro, is a hamlet located in the town of Ohio in Herkimer County, New York, United States. The South Branch West Canada Creek converges with the West Canada Creek in the hamlet. The name "Noblesboro", now Nobleboro, is derived from its situation at the boundary of a royal grant to Sir William Johnson.
Smith Point Park, located on the barrier island of Fire Island, is a haven for sportsmen, surfers and beach lovers. An extremely popular facility, the park has white sands, rolling Atlantic surf and an adjoining camping facility that attract both Suffolk County residents and tourists each summer.
Chimney Farm stands on a peninsula called East Neck, one of two that separate two lobes of Damariscotta Lake.Between the two peninsulas is a cove of the lake; the Chimney Farm property originally extended entirely across East Neck between the eastern lobe of the lake and the cove, but is now reduced to 20 acres (8.1 ha) fronting the lake.
The highway meets a few local road intersections just south of Goosebury Hill before encountering Paradox Lake. NY 74 runs mostly parallel to the lake and intersects with a local campground entrance road as it continues eastward from Schroon. [6] The western terminus of NY 74 at I-87. The end sign, however, is located at US 9.
The watershed at Nobleboro covers some 240 square miles (620 km 2) of the southwestern Adirondack Park, and is rich in natural resources. The West Canada Lakes Wilderness Area has been expanded to include Fort Noble Mountain, which was the site of a fire tower that was erected in 1916 until it was deactivated and removed in 1985.
