Baltimore County Public Schools is the school district in charge of all public schools in Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. [2] It is the 25th largest school system in the US as of 2013. [3] The school system is managed by the board of education, headquartered in Towson. Since July 1, 2023, the superintendent is Myriam Rogers. [4]

The school district for Lansdowne High School borders the districts of Catonsville High School [1] in Baltimore County and Southern High School, which is now known as Digital Harbor High School [2] in Baltimore City. Various proposals to renovate or replace the school building were made in 2016 and 2017.
The school originally was a junior/senior high school. The area of the county when Milford opened its doors in 1949 was mostly rural. In the early and mid 1950s, the school became overcrowded, forcing the county to build a separate junior high (Sudbrook; grades 7-9)and the renamed high school dropped the "Junior" from its name.
Dundalk High School is located on Delvale Avenue in Dundalk, which is in the southeast part of Baltimore County and has roots back to 1888. In 1946, the former junior-senior high school building was opened. As the area's population grew, there was great need for a new high school. The high school building was originally built in 1959.
