Chloe, Serena, and Lisia all perform in the Pokémon contest, with Serena and Lisia tying for first place. While Chloe and Serena say their goodbyes, Ash and Goh both run past Serena to get on a boat with Chloe. Serena recognizes Ash and calls out to him. The two of them briefly reunite and share their respective goals before separating once more.
