Nawai Watan is a Balochi-language newspaper published in Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan. [10] In 1875, Mansel Longworth Dames took great interest in the scientific study and collection of Baloch poems and songs, and for the first time in 1881, he presented examples of them in an article titled "A Sketch of the Northern Balochi Language".
