The engine oil tanks were in the engine nacelles. Each nacelle contained a 15 imp gal (18 US gal; 68 L) oil tank, including a 2.5 imp gal (3.0 US gal; 11 L) air space. The oil tanks themselves had no separate coolant controlling systems. The coolant header tank was in the forward nacelle, behind the propeller.
